Whats for Dinner: Prawns & Scallops with Shitake Mushrooms Asparagus& Vine Ripened Tomato in Garlic Sauce

When Mr K takes over the kitchen, expect some out of this world (yet sumptuous) meal ... just like tonight. I suppose I get what I ask for - as sometimes when he asks me what to cook, I would tell him to surprise me --- and I guess tonight was one of those "surprise me" meal.

After cooking, I asked him what this dish was called and he said - he just made it up, so I called it Prawns & Scallops with Shitake Mushrooms Asparagus & Vine Ripened Tomatoes in Garlic Sauce ( I know, pretty long name for a meal hahaha). I sort of added some vermicelli noodles on the side (the pic was my plate) thinking that it might not be enough for me - but boy that was filling as it is.

This food was fresh and very healthy. The veggies were just shortly pan fried in a nonstick pan with a touch of olive oil. The same was made for the prawns and scallops (with roe intact) and the ripe vine tomatoes was finished off in the oven. Season them while in the pan.

The sauce was made by frying some garlic and then combining it with some cream.... yummm.

Then all you have to do is put them together in a plate and enjoy.... now isn't that easy or what....
